Same Day Shipping
Orders received before 12PM Noon Central Time weekdays are generally shipped the same day unless otherwise specified. This is our standard procedure and not a guarantee. Orders received after that time and on weekends or holidays are shipped the next business day. Although we place a high priority on getting your order shipped as soon as possible, please note we make no guarantees as large orders, seasonal peaks, severe weather conditions or other circumstances may sometimes delay shipping.

Address Requirements
First Avenue Gift Baskets uses UPS as our preferred method of shipping. Other methods of shipping may be used at our discretion. Therefore please provide both physical address AND P.O. Box information for all packages! Be sure that your ship to address is accurate! All carriers will charge a re-routing fee if a package is re-routed due to an incorrect or incomplete address. First Avenue Gift Baskets reserves the right to pass this $18 re-routing fee on to you when this situation occurs. You will be notified by e-mail in such a case. If for any reason your package needs redirected, you will be charged for that added service.

Shipping Methods
You have the choice of the below shipping methods, select the one that best fits your needs. Please note that Saturday, Sunday and all holidays are not considered delivery days.

• PO Box/APO/FPO Priority Mail  Ships next business day. Delivers 2-3 days for PO Boxes. Delivery to military bases will require a few additional days.
• USPS Express Mail - Ships next business day. Overnight to most locations.

• Shipping Rates
  Shipping rates vary by gift basket or item. You will be given the choice and cost of all shipping methods during checkout. All shipping charges are based on the destination of your package as well as shipping weight and dimensions. Shipping weight is determined by the estimated weight of all item(s) plus the necessary packing materials and the shipping box.

  You will be supplied your tracking number or delivery confirmation number so you have constant access to your package information.

Other Shipping Information
First Avenue Gift Baskets is bound to the rules and regulations of each carrier. Once the carrier receives the package, we have no control over the actual delivery time it my take to be delivered. We declare that once the package has been handed to the shipping carrier that liability of the package no longer lies with First Avenue Gift Baskets. We are therefore not liable for lost or stolen merchandise. First Avenue Gift Baskets will not refund or reship any package that has been marked as "Delivered" by the carrier even if recipient claims non-receipt. It is possible that the package was left with neighbors, behind a bush, in the garage, between the doors etc. We suggest that the recipient contact the delivering carrier to verify where parcel was placed.

First Avenue Gift Baskets has no control over a carrier's decision if your location is considered safe to leave a package. If this happens the carrier will leave a notice notifying you that an attempt was made for delivery. You must follow the carrier's directions on the notice for delivery of your package. If any package is returned to First Avenue Gift Baskets for any reason, no refund will be issued.


Guarantee & Return Policy
At First Avenue Gift Baskets, we strive for excellence in all aspects of our business. However if you are not satisfied with your purchase or gift, please contact customer service within 3 business days of delivery (day package is received is day one). All refunds are issued as store credits to be used on your next purchase and all returns must be received within 30 days of original purchase unless otherwise instructed. All returns and exchanges are returned at your expense. If you need to return any item, please contact us for details.


Other Merchandise - You may return any product undamaged for any reason at all. There is a $10 restocking fee for general merchandise on returnable items. Shipping and Handling fees are non-refundable.

Returns on items that shipped via our free shipping method
If you decide that you need to return an item that was shipped via our free standard shipping method, the shipping costs will be deducted from your refund as well as the restocking fee.

Hospital & Hotel Deliveries
Deliveries to hospitals and hotels are NOT RECOMMENDED. Since their deliveries normally go to a general receiving department and then get routed to the recipient's room, we do not guarantee these deliveries. Sorry, no refunds will be given should you decide to ship to these types of locations. Therefore if you place your order with a hospital or hotel delivery address, we will assume you have taken all this into account and will ship your order per your request. Instead of a hospital delivery, we highly recommend that you ship to either a nearby family member if possible or to the patient's home address.

Holiday Deadlines
During the holiday seasons, we will post a suggested final date to place orders using various shipping methods. This information is provided by our carriers and is no way a "guarantee" that your package will arrive in time for that holiday. This is simply a courtesy we provide. To alleviate this possible disappointment, we would strongly encourage you to have your orders placed earlier than the suggested final date. Thank you for your understanding.

Delayed Shipping
Orders held for delayed shipping will be packaged and shipped via our UPS Ground shipping method. If you have a specific date for arrival, just let us know in the comments section of the order form and we will do our best to have it arrive at that time.

We work very hard and spend thousands of dollars to provide our customers with the best gifts in the industry and we would appreciate it if you would respect our work.

During the hot summer months any gift basket with chocolate items will be replaced with hard candies from the list below of equal or greater value (unless shipped ovenight)
